UNDP is the abbreviation for the United Nations Development Program

 

WHAT DOES O PNUD DO?

UNDP is responsible for numerous actions in favor of the Planet and EVERYTHING that is on it, it is concerned with human and climate issues, among others, but what the media has seen the most and involved the largest number of countries has been the Environment, which gained emphasis in 1992 with the ECO 92 conference, held in Rio de Janeiro, giving rise to the Rio +20 Report and which   culminated in the "UNITED NATIONS SUMMIT FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" , held in September de 2015 with the commitment of 195 countries through the signing of an agreement for the Sustainable Development of the Planet.

THE ROLE OF EICA IN THIS CONTEXT

EICA was created wholly and directly within the context of UNDP and committed to the MDGs and SDGs.

Of the eight MDGs, EICA is fully included in two, numbers 7 and 8, and partially in numbers 2 and 3.

Of the seventeen SDGs, EICA is fully included in two, numbers 14 and 15 and partially in numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,_cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_16 and 17, which makes it meet 63 goals out of a total of 169.

For all these reasons, EICA is a strong arm of the UN and has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
